Carl Thomas Antonovich, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2024. Born in San Pedro, CA to Carl Antonovich Senior, Lilly “Beth” Halstead Antonovich, and older sister Arlene. Carl lived a life rich in love, adventure, and dedication.
Carl lived his entire life in San Pedro where he was a beloved member of the tight-knit community. A passionate sports fisherman and outdoorsman, Carl relished long-range fishing trips with his nephews and friends and cherished countless camping, Catalina, and river trips with his wife, children, extended family, and friends. Carl's fun-loving personality and zest for life endeared him to everyone he met. Everyone that knew Carl, loved him.
Carl is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 50 years, Linda Antonovich; his three children, Gina (Tony) Danelo, Tracy (Mike) Pesic, and Nick (Ally) Antonovich; his four cherished grandchildren, Claire, Emmett, Ava, and Noah; his sister, Arlene Harrison; and numerous nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
A memorial service to honor Carl's life will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to VFW Post 2967 or Pedro Pet Pals, reflecting Carl’s dedication to his fellow veterans and his love for animals.
Carl’s legacy of love, laughter, and adventure will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
