Bruce Alan Bales

Bruce Alan Bales passed away on February 4, 2024 at the age of 68. He was born in
Inglewood, CA on October 7th 1955 and was a longtime resident of Torrance. He attended
Hickory Elementary School and Torrance High School. Bruce worked in San Pedro at Icon
International for years before retiring. He enjoyed camping and boating and being with his family
and girlfriend Patty Stewart. He never missed holidays or special occasions or if you just
needed to talk and enjoy each other’s company. He loved his family dearly and was a doting
father and grandfather. He was a great friend, son, father, and grandfather who was loved by all.
He’s survived by his father, Charles Bales (98), son, Wesley Bales, daughter, Katy Bales
Lohmann, and grandchildren Jack, Maxwell, and Olivia Lohmann. He was a light in our lives and
will be sorely missed. We love you Dad.
