Bradford Bartik

Bradford William Bartik, 62, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle, passed away on February 4, 2018 in Torrance, California while surrounded by loved ones. He fought a courageous battle against debilitating diseases with great strength. Brad was born to Charles Bartik, Jr. and Doris Wilkinson Bartik on September 16, 1955 in Inglewood, California. He married Brenda Jean Marriott on March 20, 1976 in Torrance, California. Brad was a gifted and skilled mechanic and he worked as a Master Technician in the automotive industry. Brad loved the outdoors—especially the ocean and the mountains. He was an avid cyclist and fisherman. He loved building and fixing things and he enjoyed pursuing a variety of hobbies. Trains will always hold a special significance to our family. He had a very friendly and engaging personality and he loved talking with others. Above all, he loved his family. Brad is survived by his wife, his children, Bryan (Allison) Bartik and Brooke (Brent) Fuller, and his six grandchildren. He is also survived by his father, his sister, Jayne Morse, and his brother, Jeff (Bonnie) Bartik and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother. Services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 22721 Main Street, Carson, CA 90745 at 11:00 AM. A viewing will take place before from 9:30-10:30 at the same location. Brad will be laid to rest at Green Hills Cemetery.
