Bonnie Patricia Moffitt (née Moore)

Bonnie Patricia Moffitt passed away, joining the Lord on Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Bonnie was born to George and Hildreth Moore (Rodgers) in Indiana, August 15, 1935. In 1936, the family moved to California where Bonnie attended grade schools in Wilmington and Torrance, graduating from Torrance High School in 1953. Bonnie went on to be a homemaker, realtor, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and in her later years, a treasured volunteer at Kaiser Hospital. Bonnie also donated much of her time to multiple charities, providing needed comfort to patients and their families.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Marvin "Johnnie" Moffitt, and is survived by her daughter Patti Moffitt-Browne (Robert) and son Michael Moffitt (Denise); her four grandchildren, Julia Zanchi (Tracy), Timothy Moffitt (Amber), James Moffitt (Marika), and Tammy Ranahan (Moffitt)(Paul); two great-grandchildren Grant and Carter; her sister Sharlie Moore-White; and brother Billy Moore.

Services celebrating the life of Bonnie Moffitt will be held on Monday May 5, 2025 at 2pm in the Old Saint Peter’s Church, with interment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
