Bonnie Ivo (Anderson) Brandenburg

November 28, 1919 — November 6, 2013

Bonnie I. Brandenburg, 65 year resident of Wilmington, was blessed with the gift of eternal life on November 6, 2013. Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and aunt; she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, William. She leaves a living legacy with her four children: Fred (Mary Ann), Jim (Alexis), Bonnie Kay (Michael) Dino, Robert (June); daughter-in-law Nadine Holder, nine grandchildren Debbie, Darren, JR, Mark, Sallye, Tiffany, Donovan, Matthew and Megan; and fourteen great-grandchildren: Ryan, Candace, Shane, Jake, Destiny, David, Caprice, Troy, Sallie, Eric, Tyler, Trey, Dylan and Sophia; as well as her many cherished nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. She was adventurous and hard working, selfless and giving. She was a cowgirl at heart and loved her Montana roots being born in Great Falls, MT and growing up with her six siblings on the family farm at Power, MT. She enjoyed an independent life for 93 years, bowling, horseback riding, boating, fishing, and was game for any adventure. She was a devoted wife and homemaker; she also worked for Robert Hall Clothiers for 17 years and Borden Chemical for 5 years. She blessed the lives of all who knew her with her gentle, generous, loving spirit and she will be greatly missed by all. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 14th at 1 PM in the Chapel at Green Hills Memorial Park.
