Billy J. Hurd

Billy, the son of Daniel and Pinky was born September 27, 1939 in Woodland, Texas and passed away peacefully in his home on September 18, 2011 in San Pedro, California, surrounded by his family. He was a member of Local 63 Marine Clerks union over 35 years. Billy graduated San Pedro High School and attended Harbor Jr. College. He is survived by Artie, the love of his life and wife of 40 years; 2 daughters, Tara Hurd and Kristen Hurd; 4 grandchildren; 7 siblings, and a host of friends and relatives. He was preceded in death by 5 of his siblings. The Memorial Service for Mr. Billy J. Hurd will be Monday, September 26th at 11:00 a.m. at the Rolling Hills Covenant Church in Rancho Palos Verdes. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 – 7:00 at Green Hills Mortuary.
