Billie Joan Gibbs

Billie Joan Pack, the daughter of Forest and Mary Pack, was born in Bicknell Indiana on November 18, 1932. She married her beloved Virgil R. Gibbs on March 31, 1951 and they celebrated 64 years of marital bliss as well as being longtime residents of Torrance, California. She was an active church member and deacon at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian in Redondo Beach and committed herself and helped others for over 36 years in the AA program.

Billie Joan passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 25, 2018. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother and had a special place in her heart for all animals. She is survived by her son Richard and his wife Diane Gibbs, her daughter Shawn Ferris, son John Gibbs, 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

A visitation will be held 4:00PM to 8:00PM, Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Malaga Suite, Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes. A private gravesite funeral service will be held 10:00AM, Saturday, September 1, 2018 at the Green Hills Memorial Park.
