Beverly Ann Iacono

June 14, 1943 — October 12, 2013

Our beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, cousin, and friend, Beverly Ann Heisterman Iacono, passed away Saturday October 12, 2013, in Woodland, CA.

Beverly was born in San Pedro, CA, in 1943 to Ralph and Annie Heisterman. She graduated from San Pedro High School in 1961, married her high school sweetheart, Richard Iacono, in 1963, and raised their three children Joseph, Danielle, and Gina, after which they enjoyed being in "absolute awe" over their 5 grandchildren together. They were married 47 years until Richard's passing in 2010.

Beverly created a beautiful and loving home for her family and also enjoyed her years working at Mary Star of the Sea High School. Beverly loved to travel with her dear friends – by sea was her favorite!

She will be remembered for her kind heart, loving nature, steadfast beliefs, inner strength, honesty, and creativity. Beverly loved to make memories with her family and friends – she had a flare for hosting family gatherings and an amazing talent for displaying those memories – beautifully made scrapbooks and frames! The way she saw her life will live on forever through her books… bringing us all joy in our hearts.

Beverly is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph and Christine Iacono; daughters, Danielle Poli and Gina (Hormoz) Iacono – Kianfar; her grandchildren, Kolby, Ethan, Brendan, Sarah, and Hudson Ike; her "sissy", Virginia (Jack) Mardesich; her sister-in-law, Christine (Richard) Maier; nephews, Denis (Susan) Mardesich, Steven (Gloria) Maier; niece, Juliane Mardesich; and all her loving family and many friends.

A Vigil Service will be held on Monday, October 21, 2013 at 7:00 P.M. at Green Hills Mortuary Chapel.
