She lived a very humble and modest life till getting married to her first husband, Jack Poe and then moving to Torrance, California for a few years then making the move to Rolling Hills Estates where they raised their 2 children Andrea & Becky. She is survived by her 2nd husband, Carl Watson. Her oldest daughter Andrea (Poe) Vissers and husband John who reside in Rolling Hills Estates. John & Andrea have 2 children, first born daughter Lindsay with husband Eric and their two children Avery & Austin, and son Tyler and wife Nicole and new baby daughter Angelina. Lindsay and Tyler were Betty's pride in joy in life. Betty's youngest daughter Becky Poe- Anderson and husband Ed reside in Rancho Palos Verdes. Becky following in her mother's footsteps and working side by side with her mother since 1976. Betty's life was consumed with doing what she loved the most, working. Sales were always her specialty but she also had a modeling career and a dress shop owner before she found Real Estate. She was encouraged by her good friend and neighbor Jack Dunckel to get her Real Estate license and come to work for his company and she took him up on it and never looked back. Soon becoming Jack's partner and calling the company Dunckel & Poe Realty located on the busy corner of PVDN & PVDE. She then went to work for Re/Max where she finally retired 3 years ago. She was one of the most successful agents Palos Verdes ever saw and a legend in the business. Retirement was tough for such a go getter and health issues arose that ultimately took her early.
