Betty Jo Goodwin

Betty Jo Goodwin passed away on March 20, 2024, in Rancho Palos Verdes at the age of 93. She was born on September 26, 1930, to Lucile and Paul Lambert in Yakima, WA. After Betty graduated from University High School in Los Angeles, she went on to UCLA and Chico State, receiving her Bachelor of Business Administration degree. She spent time touring Europe before starting her career. She worked for Hughes Aircraft as an executive assistant for over 40 years. She met her husband, Thomas Guy Goodwin, while both worked at Hughes. They were married on March 23, 1964. Guy passed away on June 11, 1983. In 1995, Betty retired and enjoyed spending time in her cherished home in Rancho Palos Verdes. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Terri Ann Donegan (James), and precious grandchildren, Ryan (Britt), Sean (Lauren), and Jennifer (fiancé Danny Mignano). Betty had just recently become a great-grandmother to Finn Donegan. She was a big part of her grandkids' lives, and the family will miss her greatly.
