Born August 5, 1938, died December 22, 2024. Survived by her husband of 53 years and her daughter Yvonne. She also had 2 grandchildren, Amanda & Kevin plus one great-granddaughter Annabella. Betty taught elementary school for more than 20 years and retired in 2001. After retiring from teaching she loved volunteering at a Fosters Children’s Resource Center, She had several creative arts hobbies that she truly enjoyed like sewing, ceramics, macramé, stained glass, and quilting. And she loved to golf and travel. Betty battled cancer for over 40 years but her cause of death was a combination of: flu, listeria, and meningitis.
