Bette Y. Ohara

Bette Yoshiko Ohara passed away peacefully on June 19, 2019 at the age of 87, in Brentwood, CA.

She is survived by her children Thomas Ohara Jr., Ronald Ohara, Wanda Maldonado, Debbie Sur, Jayne Ohara, and Michael (Jean) Ohara; Grandmother to Marie Dunnewold, Stephanie Sur, Christopher (Lauryn), Tanabe, Melissa Ohara, Megan Ohara, Kendell Bunac, and Preston Bunac; Great-grandmother to Ian, Lucas, and Maiya Dunnewold, Kanen, Alivia, and Benton Tanabe; and many Great- and Great-great Nieces and Nephews. She is also survived by siblings Fumiko Ishida and Yutaka Fujimoto.

Bette was predeceased by her parents, Jenkichi and Suyeno Fujimoto,
loving husband, Thomas Satoru Ohara, brothers Kiyoshi and Sakaye Fujimoto, sisters Chitose Nakazawa, Masako Ishida, and Toshiko Wyeno.

Funeral service for Bette will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel, 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275, at 2:00 pm.
