Bernice Mary Brady

Bernice Brady was born in Paterson, NJ on October 20,1933 to Frederick and Mary Hearn. Bernice lived the life of the Colonel’s daughter moving all over the United States and even lived in Germany. In 1951, she finished her high school education at Benedictine Academy Catholic School in NJ. In 1955, Bernice graduated from Pepperdine University. While living in San Pedro, she met and married Raymond Brady in November 10, 1956. They were married 17 yrs. In 1958, they had their only child, Margaret. In 1960, she started her 33-year career, teaching at Dana Jr. High School teaching home economics. Travelling was her passion. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Church. She volunteered at Little Sisters of the Poor and Little Co. of Mary Hospital. Bernice is survived by her daughter Margaret (Mike), 2 grandsons Brian Harper (Carla), Eric Harper, and 2 great grandchildren Oceania (8) and Ryker (3). Services will be held at Green Hills Memorial Park in the Historic Church at 27501 S. Western Ave. Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, at 10am on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
