Bernard Paul Zarnoch (Bernie), 86, a long-time resident of Carson, California, died Thursday, January 22, 2015. He was born in Pittston, Pennsylvania on August 8, 1928. He served in the United States Army in Korea as a cook and received an honorable discharge. He is survived by his daughters Vivian (Louie) Colomo and Sharon (Bob) Desmond and his sister Mary Kokinda. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Teresa (Semanski) Zarnoch and his brother, Joseph, and sister-in-law, Irene Zarnoch. He was an upholsterer by trade and worked for Continental Airlines for 23 years. He was an active member of VFW Post 10166 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 4001 of Carson. Visitation will be at Green Hills Mortuary on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral services will be at Green Hills Memorial Chapel on Saturday, February 7, 2015.
