Bernadine “Bernie” Mendoza, a longtime resident of Harbor City, passed away on Wednesday August 2, 2017.

She was born in Arkansas and at the age of 9 traveled to California with her family. She was the youngest of four girls born to Charles and Mamie Mae Cole. Bernie is preceded in death by her husband, David Mendoza. She is survived by her three children, David (Teresa) of San Pedro, Sandra (Alex) of Utah, and Frank of Harbor City, her grandchildren, Celina, Michelle, Justin, Amy, Carly, Jason, Alec, Nicole, Samantha, and Sarah, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Bernie had many friends in the community and her family invites you to attend her services.
