Benjamina B. Millado

It is with great sadness that the Millado family announce the passing of our beautiful sister, Benjamina, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at their long-time family home in Carson, CA. She was predeceased by her loving parents Isidro and Maria, older siblings Eleanor and Quirico, and is survived by her younger siblings Abraham (Diana), Ruben (Midori), Roy, and sister in law Tessie.

Born July 24, 1949 in Gerona, Tarlac, Philippines, Benjamina spent her childhood and adulthood years in Southern California. Upon graduating from San Diego State, she embarked on successful careers as a teacher, and as a manager of Human Resource divisions at several of the major aerospace companies. Upon retirement she utilized her artistic and creative skills to form her own antiques and crafts business.

Auntie Benji, as she was better known, was kind, considerate, and generous to her family, especially to her nieces Erica, April Joy (Justin), Grace, Nicole, and nephews Jeremy (Katrina) and Matthew, providing them with much love and support. She was instrumental in their growing years and through their adult life, and was continuing her loving touch with her grand-niece Keri Joy, and grand-nephew Paul Christopher.

Benjamina’s family will celebrate her life through prayers, reflection, photos, and music on June 10, 2023 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel.
