Born May 11, 1935 in Houston, Pennsylvania to Bennie and Virginia Murdoch, the Torrance resident passed away peacefully on December 21, 2014.
Ben is survived by his loving wife, Sandra, his daughter, Susan Marie (Don E.) Cheeks along with 3 grandchildren, Matthew Allen Cheeks, Jason Edward Cheeks and Stella Eva Madrid. Preceded in death by his son, Chuck Murdoch, Ben is also survived by his daughter-in-law, Cathy Murdoch and Ben's sister, Violet DeFelice.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014, 11:00am at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. Interment to follow in Green Hills Memorial Park, Rancho Palos Verdes.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ascencion Lutheran Church of Torrance.
