Barbara Daugherty Wellwood

On May 23, 2014, with her beloved dogs Schatzie and Heidi by her side and surrounded by loving family and friends, Barbie joined her dear husband Eddie in Heaven. Barbie was a friend to many and loved by all. If anyone knew the meaning of a true friend, it was Barbie. She welcomed all with open arms and a warm smile. Barbie never missed an opportunity to remind others she was thinking about them whether in person or by a note or telephone. She loved her friends unconditionally. Barbie always said friends were so important, and she meant it. Barbie worked at TRW for almost 35 years, where she formed many lasting friendships. In addition, she was active in her church, St. John Fisher, and belonged to Divine Mercy and Families of Nazareth. Barbie was grateful for the many fellow parishioners, dear friends, and family who provided comfort during her brave fight against leukemia. A world traveler, Barbie is now on the ultimate voyage with Eddie. Friends and family miss them but are thankful they are at peace.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 30, 2014, at 10:00 am at St. John Fisher Catholic Church with interment to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park.
