Barbara Jene Brannon

Barbara “Bobbie” Brannon, 101 of Torrance, CA passed away peacefully at home on December 02, 2023. Barbara was born in Los Angeles, CA on May 05, 1922 to Clarence and Effie West.

She graduated from Gardena High School. On February 23, 1947 she married L.B. “Bill” Brannon and raised four daughters Dianna, Peggy, Beverly and Pamela.

Barbara was active on the Halldale Elementary PTA, a Girl Scout Leader and a Good Friend to All. She loved gardening, working in her rose garden, sewing and traveling.

She is preceded in death by her husband L.B. “Bill”, daughter Pamela Jene Gertsch and son-in-law Tom Gertsch, Daughter Peggy Darlene Bassett, and son-in-law Charles Johnson.

Barbara is survived by her two Daughters, Dianna Johnson and Beverly West (John) and Son-in-law Steve Bassett. Grandchildren, Jennifer Webb, Kimberly Pennix (Alvin), Christin Johnson, Stephen Bassett, Ryan Bassett, Matthew Bassett, Jeremy West, David West, Nick Gertsch (Janine), Lorena Pettinato (Chad), Michelle Walks (Robert). Great grandchildren, Pearl, Gabriella Pennix, Mackenzie Pennix, Vaughn Bassett, Blake Bassett, Shane Bassett, Aspen Bassett, Deagan West, Hayden West, Waylon West, Bailey Gertsch, Jameson Gertsch, Sierra Hickcox, Callie Pettinato, Ellie Walks. Great Great granddaughter Violet.
