Asuncion Espinoza Torres

It is with profound sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our Mother, Asuncion Torres, who left us peacefully on April 14, 2025 at the age of 90 due to heart failure. She was almost 91 years old in a couple of months since she was born on June 12, 1934 in Lubao, Pampanga, Philippines. She lived a good life full of kindness and grace. She devoted her life to her husband, Francisco who passed away on August 30, 2021 and her entire family, always offering unconditional love and support. Her generosity and unwavering faith were constants in the lives of those who loved her. Her incredible cooking or simply her presence made everyone feel at home. She is survived by her children, Josielita, Jornel, Jelmer, Jonathan, and Jeffrey, grandchildren Patricia Bianca (Peaby), Jornel Jr (JR), Tina Joy (TJ), Andrea Janelle (AJ) and Adrian Jefferson and daughters-in-law Carmelita, Maria Cristina and Mary Anilene. Visitation will be held from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday, March 9, 2025 at Green Hills Memorial Chapel. A funeral service to celebrate her life will follow on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Family and friends are welcome to attend and share their memories of my Mom whose love and spirit will continue to live on in all of us. After the burial, a lunch reception will be held at China Buffet on Pacific Coast Hwy in Torrance CA. All family and friends are warmly invited to join us in remembering and celebrating her beautiful life.
