It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Arsenia Vette Pierre-Louis, who peacefully departed this life at her residence in Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, on Sunday, June 16, 2024. Arsenia was born on May 19, 1964, in Metropolis, IL, the beloved daughter of Martin L. and Eva M. Hamilton.
Arsenia's life was defined by her unwavering faith and her commitment to service. She was a dedicated member of Ware Memorial Church of God in Christ in Paducah, KY, before moving to California, where she became an active member of Gospel Memorial Church of God in Christ in Long Beach, CA. Her roles as vice-president of the singles organization, choir member, and bible study teacher reflected her deep spiritual dedication. Arsenia was a member of Cottonwood Church in Los Alamitos, CA, and graduated from their School of Ministry. She continued to enrich her spiritual journey at Calvary Chapel South Bay in Gardena, CA.
Educationally driven and professionally accomplished, Arsenia pursued studies in business management, administration, architectural drafting, and AutoCAD 2000 design. She attended West Kentucky State Vocational Tech in Paducah, KY, and Cerritos Community College in Cerritos, CA. Her dedication and diligence propelled her career from secretarial positions to becoming a Proposal Coordinator at AECOM in Orange, CA, where she played a pivotal role in developing multi-million dollar proposals for civil engineering projects.
On August 17, 2013, Arsenia married Enold Pierre-Louis, the love of her life, in Palos Verdes Estates, CA. Together, they embraced a life filled with shared passions for travel, adventure, and creating memorable gatherings. Arsenia's exceptional culinary talents and event planning skills were renowned, bringing family and friends together to cherish lasting moments.
Arsenia is survived by her devoted husband, Enold, of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; her sisters Shirley A. Lee of Ogden, UT, Carmelita Robertson of Brookport, IL, Edith M. Watson of Ogden, UT, Martina Moore of La Palma, CA, Loretta Hamilton of Bellflower, CA, and Villa A. Hamilton of Cerritos, CA; stepchildren Justin and Kristina Pierre-Louis of Dallas, TX; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin L. and Eva M. Hamilton from Brookport, IL, and her brothers Earl A. Hamilton and Martin Hamilton, Jr. from Paducah, KY.
Arsenia's life was a testament to faith, love, and generosity. She touched the lives of everyone she met with her warmth, compassion, and infectious laughter. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
