Antonia Carone

Antonia Carone passed away peacefully January 15th at 9:42 a.m. surrounded with her loving family by her side.

Antonia was born to the late Paulo and Ida Genchi, September 14,1939 in Bari, Italy. She lived in Italy until she met and married the love of her life, the late Vito Carone. They created a beautiful family and life together.

Antonia was certified through the Nevada Registry in the field of Child Care and preschool education. She loved children and worked until the very end, her 80th birthday. She had a passion for life and was always on the go. Family was very important to her. She was very close to her daughters and they shared her many passions together which included cooking, dancing, singing, poetry recitals, traveling and zest for life! Antonia was always beautiful and perfectly poised.

Antonia is survived by her daughters - Antoinette Castrogiovanni, Ida Dailey and Grazia Carone, Grandkids - Nicoletta Castrogiovanni, Natalie Dailey, Jonathan Dailey and Maxamillion Dailey, Great Grandkids - Addyson Castrogiovanni-Crosby and Jameson Castrogiovanni-Crosby. Sisters - Mina, Pasquina and Livia as well as many nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.

Viewing ceremony will be held on Friday, January 24 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Cove Suite at Green Hills Mortuary.

The mass & burial will take place Saturday, January 25 at 2:00 p.m. located in the chapel at Green Hills Mortuary.
