Antoinette Theresa Mancini

Antoinette was born in 1930 in Ischia, Italy to Pasquale and Orsolina Califano. At the age of four her family came to America and settled in New York. She attended grammar school at St. Paul’s & graduated high school with honors from St. Patrick’s. She met & fell in love with Otto Mancini. They moved to California & were married in 1950 at the old Mary Star of the Sea Church in San Pedro. They had three children, Thomas, Rosemarie and Annmarie. A devout Catholic she was a parishioner and sang in the church choir at Mary Star for over 30 years. She was also a proud member of the Italian Catholic Federation. She worked at Todd Shipyard and Syd Carpenter Marine. She loved singing, dancing and parties. She was happiest around her family & friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Otto and her son in law Mark Ganoe. She will be deeply missed by her children, Thomas(Barbara), Rosemarie Ganoe and Annmarie(Kevin)Kreager.
Grandchildren, Erica(Lucas), Elena(Logan), Kristopher, Sarah, Kyle, Lauren, Seth and Great Granddaughter Khloe. Sister Rita Migliaccio, her caregiver Virginia and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Monday November 8th at:
Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church
877 west 7th Street San Pedro
Rosary and Funeral Service at 10:30am
Burial to follow at Green Hills Memorial Park
