Anthony T. Rukavina
March 15, 1958-May 13, 2021

On May 13, 2021 Anthony Thomas Rukavina, 63, passed away in the comfort of his home surrounded by loved ones.
Anthony was born to Stella Salazar Rukavina and Anthony A. Rukavina on March 15, 1958 in his home town of San Pedro, CA; where he lived, worked and raised his loving family of five.

He is survived by his beautiful wife Suzanne, was a dedicated father to his two daughters Faith Mirmantes and Jaqueline Shirley; an amazing father to his son Anthony T. Rukavina Jr. and a proud grandfather to Seth, Jasmine, Austin and baby Owen (arriving August 2021).

Anthony was a loving and caring brother to his two sisters and wonderful Uncle to many nieces, nephews and cousins. He dedicated his life to his family and was a loyal friend too many, bringing joy and laughter anywhere he went.

Anthony was a proud member of ILWU Local 13, where he retired from after 39 years and was a longtime member of the Dalmatian American Club. Not only was he a dedicated family man, he was also an overly dedicated USC Football and L.A. Angels baseball fan; and has many collectibles to prove it. He was a true fan, enjoyed going to games, connecting with people everywhere he went and left wonderful memories along the way.

His fighting spirit and love for his family and friends will live on eternally.
A celebration of life is being held at Green Hills Mortuary, Tuesday June 15, 2021 at 2:00pm with reception to follow at The Dalmatian American Club of San Pedro starting at 4:00pm.
