Ann Gosser 1926 – 2014
Ann Gosser (Annabelle Agnes Lantz Gosser) 88, passed away on September 20, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on February 12th, 1926 in Elkhart, Indiana to Frank and Bernice Parks Lantz.
Ann married Ben F. Gosser and they were happily married for over 65 years with four children, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. During their marriage they lived in Miami, Florida; Birmingham, Alabama, and settled in Southern California in 1963. Ann worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" in a blueprint plant during WWII. After the war she married and began her family. She was a full-time wife and mother caring tirelessly to her family. Ann suffered from Alzheimer's disease the last several years of her life. She was cared for by Ben and her children.
Ann is predeceased by her mother, father, and Brother John Robert Lantz.
Ann is survived by her spouse Ben F. Gosser of Torrance, California; her daughter Sandy Stephenson of Paradise, California; her son Tim Gosser and his wife Cindy of Santa Rosa Valley, California; her daughter Jill Ittner and her husband Tim of Long Beach, California; and her daughter Tomi Gosser-Sutton and her husband Robert of Los Alamitos, California. Her grandchildren Randy Loeb, Robby Loeb, Corey Gosser, Kelly Ittner, Craig Gosser, Casey Ittner, Danny Ittner, Carly Gosser, Samantha Sutton and four great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Green Hills Memorial, 27501 S Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes on Wednesday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. The family will be greeting friends and relatives at a nearby restaurant immediately following the service.
