Born on February 22, 1936, in Peoria, Illinois, as Anna Ruth Hufeld, she led a life rich with adventure, warmth, and enduring connections.

Anna's life was marked by her love for exploration and discovery. Her passion for traveling took her to many corners of the world, creating memories that she cherished deeply. Her career at Hughes Aircraft Company was a significant chapter in her life, where she not only contributed her skills and intelligence but also formed lasting friendships. Her fondness for Baja California was well-known, where she delighted in vacationing, snorkeling, and fishing, embracing the beauty and tranquility of the ocean.

Anna's legacy continues through her grandchildren: Jessica Pharris, Erica Pharris, Zachary Schumann, Mathew Schumann, and Jena Massie, each of whom carries forward her love and values.
