Anka Ljubica Ambrosino

Anka Ljubica Ambrosino, the daughter of Mate and Cvita Simicic (Klarin), born June 8, 1922 in Rava, Croatia passed away at her home on Wednesday, December 17, 2013 at the age of 91. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Vincent Ambrosino. She is survived by her son Dennis Ambrosino; grandson Vincent Ambrosino; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She emigrated to San Pedro in the 50's and worked at the canneries on Terminal Island for decades where she met and married Vincent. She was extremely proud of her son Dennis and her grandson Vincent, who was the joy of her life. The family would like to especially thank her wonderful caregivers Alma and Milley. Viewing will be held Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 9am to 11am in the Villetta Room at Green Hills Mortuary with a service at the Pacifica Court Mausoleum following at 11:30am.
