Anita, the daughter of David and Carmen Nixon, was born on January 23, 1928 in Mesa, Arizona and passed away peacefully on October 17, 2011 in San Pedro, California. Anita is survived by Vincent Chacon Sr., the love of her life and husband of 65 years; her 3 children, Kathleen Solso, Marcella Chacon and Vincent Chacon Jr.; 4 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters. The memorial service will be on Monday, October 24th at 3:00 p.m. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes.
