Angelika Margareta Grau (Angie) was born December 16, 1927 in Fulda, Germany. She was a woman of strong Catholic faith. She loved all animals and they had an amazing attraction to her. She worked as a pharmacist’s assistant and nurse. During WWII she met John Reuter, an Army soldier. They fell in love, married, and moved to California. They had two sons together, Carl and Alan. Later on she was remarried to Louis Hegedus. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend, church member, choir singer, rosary member, yarn angel, and a long time member of the German-American Club. She was an extremely kind woman who truly loved helping people and animals. She will be missed!
