Andrew Derrick Mackenzie

Andrew Derrick MacKenzie, 86, was born as an early Christmas gift to Violet and Andrew in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. He was the youngest of two children and was very close to his beloved sister Adrienne. Andy joined the Royal Canadian Navy and served during the Korean War. He married Sui Mei and they recently celebrated 50 years together in March. Andy was a licensed steam engineer and enjoyed tinkering and repairing machinery as an Operating Engineer. He was a longtime Freemason and a Shriner. He was a lover of life, a lover of life’s excesses and truly lived life to the fullest.

Andy is survived by his loving wife, Sui Mei, Cathrin (daughter) & Dan, Elizabeth (daughter) & Reza, Victoria (daughter) & Steve, 8 grandchildren: Kevin, Kailyn & Collin Sargent; Jade Birjandi; Kaya, Sydney, Abigail & Faith Ghobrial and beloved dog Ryder.

Andy will be missed and as he always wanted to be – unforgettable in our hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held on November 17th starting at 1:30 PM PST, followed by a Burial at 3:00PM PST. Family and Friends who wish to view the service may do so at the following links:
