Andrew Kuglis

Andrew "Andy" Kuglis passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, surrounded by his family at home in Carson, CA where he has resided for the last 47 years. He was 77 years old. He was born September 12, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA to Bert and Rosa Kuglis. From a family of fisherman, he grew up in San Pedro, CA. He graduated from San Pedro High School where he ran cross country track. Andrew was a retail clerk in the grocery industry for 42 years where he met and married the love of his life, Rowena. Andy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all. He is survived by his wife of almost 39 years, Rowena Kuglis; his children, Andrea (Brian) McCarthy, Andrew (Rhealyn) Kuglis and Johnathon Shepperd; and his three grandchildren, Christian, Allison and Madison McCarthy. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Chapel at Green Hills Memorial Park. Funeral will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. also in the Chapel at Green Hills Memorial Park with burial to follow.
