Andres Laguardia Derain Sr.

Andres Laguardia Derain Sr. died peacefully at his home on March 22, 2017, at the age of 88. He was surrounded by his beloved wife of 56 years, Gloria Derain, and his four devoted children, Maria Bracamontes, Cristina Knight, Cecelia Lukasik, Andres Derain Jr. with their spouses; Jose Bracamontes, Don Knight, Dan Lukasik, and Johnna Derain. Andres was born in Lian Batangas, Philippines and was the son of Faustino and Florencia Derain.

Andres loved to travel and he lived and worked as an Aviation Engineer in the Philippines, Europe, the Middle East, and the United States.

He moved with his wife and young children to the United States in 1980 and settled in Carson, California. Above all, he was a family man devoted to his wife, four children, and five grandchildren; Nicole and Brent Knight, Rebecca Lukasik, and Andrew and Adam Derain.
