Ana Felicita Santiago Ortiz

Ana Felicita Santiago Ortiz also known by her friends and family as "Anita" passed away on November 19, 2016. Anita was 80 years old and was a resident of Long Beach, Ca. She also lived in the areas of San Pedro, and Wilmington, Ca.

Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on July 10, 1936. She was the only daughter of Luis Felipe Santiago and Maria Felicita Ortiz Berrios.

She enjoyed signing, cooking and socializing with friends and loved ones. She will be remembered for her free spirit, blunt honesty and compassion towards others.

Anita is survived by her five children Sonia, Yvonne, Edward, Cynthia and Ricardo and also survived by her ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service and interment will be held on December 2, 2016 at 12 Noon at Green Hills Mortuary and Memorial Chapel, Inc. located at 27501 South Western Avenue, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275. The viewing will be held from 12p.m. to the time of the service.

The family of Anita wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses at Long Beach Memorial Hospital and to the staff and personnel of Royal Care Skilled Nursing Facility.
