Ana Erlinda Perry, known by friends and family as Lynda, was born in Iloilo City, Philippines. Her family moved to Manila where she attended high school and college. She graduated from Centro Escolar University with a Bachelors Degree in Mass Communications. After her graduation, she worked at various jobs in Manila, then moved to the United States and got married. She had two children, Andrew Perry and Charles Perry.
Her career spanned over 30 years in the aerospace industry working for Hughes Aircraft and the Boeing Company. After retiring in 2009, she traveled throughout the world with her husband Glenn, enjoying the sights and meeting new people from various cultures.
Lynda was a uniting force in the family. Using her masterful skills as a party planner, she initiated family reunions, get-togethers and holiday gatherings with family members, and with former classmates from elementary school through college. Her goal in life was always to bring people from all walks of life together for fun and celebration.
She is survived by her husband Glenn Nakamura, son Andrew Perry, (Daughter in law Stephanie Perry), son Charles Perry, (daughter in law Lilly Perry), granddaughter Isis Perry, grandsons Chris Perry and Nathan Perry and many relatives both in the Philippines and the United States.
