Ana Margan

Ana Margan, 89, passed away on May 17, 2019 in San Pedro, California. In a room with 4 generations of her family present, she passed surrounded by the loving women who cared for her until the end: her daughter, Rakila Crivello, granddaughter, Giannina Crivello, and great-granddaughter, Victoria Messano. Ana, widely known as “Nanni”, was loved by many. She immigrated in the late 1960s with her husband 66 years, Nikola Margan. Ana was a hardworking woman who was one of the pioneer women working the tuna factories at Starkist in the 1960s and 70s. Nanni’s generosity was well known amongst family, friends, and neighbors. We will celebrate her life on Thursday, May 30th at 2pm at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes. A celebratory party will follow immediately at Raffaello Ristorante in San Pedro.
