Amy Hing-Mei Lee Chew passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 79 from complications due to a gallbladder infection.
She was born in Hong Kong on July 5, 1945, to George C.P. Lee, an accountant, and Shou Wan Ng, a teacher. Amy worked for 30 years as a clerk for various trucking companies, including Transcon and Yellow Freight. She, along with her husband James Chew of 50 years, was a longtime resident of Harbor City, California.
Amy will be missed by her husband James, daughters Lisa Chew and Lori (Jason) Yano, and grandchildren Emily and Eli.
