Alice Nishimoto

Alice Nishimoto passed away on June 5, 2025 in Lakewood, California at the age of 100. She was born in Medford, Oregon, May 31, 1925 and was a longtime resident of Torrance, Carson, Cerritos and Long Beach, California. Preceded in death by her husband, Hideto Nishimoto, she is survived by her sons, Duane (Rhonda) Nishimoto, Darrel (Jane) Nishimoto, David (Paula) Nishimoto; her daughters, Deborah (Matthew) Oberlander, Denise Nishimoto, Dee (Victor Giardina) Nishimoto, Doreen (Marcos) Hernandez, Darilyn (Gabriel) Duran, Dawn (Glenn) Anderson; her 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at the Green Hills Memorial Chapel followed by internment. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made in memory of Alice Nishimoto to your local ASPCA (animals), Family Promise of South Bay (families) or Kingdom Causes of Bellflower (families), or other charitable organizations that align with causes she cared about.
