Ali Mohammad Naghshineh

Mr. Ali. M. Naghshineh of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA., passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday October 21st. 2023, at age 101. He is survived by his four children, Dr. Shahram Naghshineh, Shahla Hooshmand, Shahpar Naghshineh and Shahriar Naghshineh; and his nine grandchildren: Mark, Kay and Eric Hooshmand, Lana, Lora and Paul Naghshineh, and Nadine, Jasmine, Lillian Kotlarz; Great Grandchildren; Tiara Price, Nolan Naghshineh, Jana Hooshmand, Roya and Lukes Chang, Ashton and Jack Birdsell, Karalina Gonzalez. Ali was the son of Mohammad H. Naghshineh and Kokab Naghshineh born on April 4th, 1923 in Ahvaz Iran.

Ali obtained his high school diploma in Ahvaz and entered college in Tehran. In high school he volunteered and became a licensed pilot. He then transferred to Indian Institute of Engineering in Bangalore India where he obtained his BS Electrical engineering degree. Upon return to Iran after graduation in 1947 Ali then entered service in the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). As the first Iranian engineer he rose in the ranks to the General Manager position of the petrochemical division. He received many merit awards for his efforts and accomplishments in the service of NIOC. He was a cofounder of the school for the blinds in Ahvaz in 1957.

Ali was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
