Loving husband of Lorna West and father of Peter West (Heather), Craig Alfred, Mark Christopher (Natalie) and grandfather of Brody West, Ella Claire and Parker Lee.
Al was born in Havana, Cuba on August 28, 1937, son of Alfred and Fortuna Interian. He was raised in New York City and graduated from Bishop Dubois High School. Al received his graduate and undergraduate degrees in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic University in Troy, New York where he was a member of the Chi Phi fraternity.
After serving in the Navy, Al worked for Honeywell, General Electric and from 1972 to his retirement in 1995, Xerox.
Services start at 10:00AM at St. Lawrence, Redondo Beach followed by burial at Green Hills Mortuary, Rancho Palos Verdes.
