Alfred S. Griffin

Born in New York City, Alfred proudly served his country in the Army Air Corps as an instrument flying instructor. He had a long career as Sales Manager in the construction materials industry with national and international companies. He was highly admired by his co-workers as a "man of his word" with considerable wisdom and a quick wit. Al was married to Gi Gi Griffin, a Realtor in the South Bay, whom he greatly loved for over 41 years. Gi Gi was the center of his universe! Alfred passed away February 16, 2014, after a long battle with vascular dementia. A celebration of his life will be held at Rolling Hills Covenant Church in the north chapel on Wednesday, March 5, at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alfred's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
