Albina Badalich, lovingly known as "Bea" was born in Negaunee, Michigan on March 1, 1928 and later moved to Torrance California where she married and built her life of 87 years until she passed away in her home on December 31, 2015. She is pre deceased by her mother Teresa Guizzetti of Torrance, her sister Lucille Chaison of Torrance and her brother Armondo Guizzetti of Negaunee Michigan. She is succeeded by her niece Darlene Eliason of Ishpeming MI, her niece Vicki Jimenez of Long Beach and her Nephew Sonny Guizzetti of Negaunee MI and many, many great and great great nieces and nephews who adored her dearly.
Bea was very independent, intelligent, business savvy and strong willed. She also had a very soft, tender, loving and giving side. She was always willing to help anyone in need either financially, emotionally or spiritually and that showed in her passion for her church and other charities. Her faith was very strong and she was a devoted member of St. Margaret Mary and Rolling Hills Covenant Church.
She worked hard for Boeing for many years but still always found time to volunteer for many organizations and charities including but not limited to Presidential Delegate of the Republican Party, an activist for the Independent party to promote the political career of her deceased husband Virgil Badalich, former Toastmasters Treasurer, John Birch Society executive, Great Patron for John Brown University, Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, and many more organizations. She also loved to sing in her church choir, square danced and traveled exotic destinations including Antarctica.
Visitation will be held at Green Hills Mortuary on January 11th 3pm - 8pm and a funeral service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Chapel at 1pm on January 12th.
