Akop Kiupelian

Akop, the son of Vartan and Anna Kiupelian was born January 7, 1928 in Turkey and passed away suddenly but peacefully with his family by his side on September 15, 2012 in Torrance, California. Akop is survived by Araksi, the love of his life and wife of 58 years; his four devoted children, Vardan Kiupelian and wife, Aida Kiupelian, Ara and wife, Maggie Kiupelian, Ani and husband, Misak Khloyian and Lena and husband, Avo Atachian; 10 grandchildren other family and many close friends. Visitation will be at St. James Armenian Church located at 4950 W. Slauson Ave. in Los Angeles, CA 90056 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 19th. The Funeral Service will be at the church on Thursday morning at 11:00 a.m. with interment immediately following at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
