Aida Pereira

Passed away January 17, 2013 in her home in Carson at the age of 95. She was born in the port city of Puerto Cortez Honduras on August 19, 1917. She and her husband came to America after WWII. She was a gourmet cook and avid reader. A 65 year resident of the Harbor Area she was preceded in death by her husband, Gonzalo Pereira, Sr., and son, Sergio Pereira. She is survived by her son, Gonzalo (Virginia) Pereira, Jr., and daughter, Ruth (Larry) Felando; grandchildren, Cynthia (Bob) Atencio, Paul G. Pereira, Daniel T. Pereira, Ronald E. (Christine) Pereira, Sergio A. Pereira and Larry Felando; great grandchildren,, JR Atencio, Jeremy Atencio, Xochitl Pereira, Leo Pereira and Jessa Pereira. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 25, 2013 at 12:00pm at Green Hills Memorial Park in Rancho Palos Verdes.
