She passed away on June 19, 2015 at the age of 83. After graduating for the University of Denver, she met Stanley Kamemoto in Los Angeles, CA in either 1954 or 1955. She fell in love and was married in January of 1956. She gave birth to a son, Kevin, on Christmas Day 1956. She had a happy and successful marriage for nearly 60 years. She worked as an Executive Secretary for TRW for over 30 years and then retired so that she could pursue her loves which includes but are not limited to: Country Line Dancing, Card Playing, Breakfast Clubs, Lunch Clubs, Collecting Angel figurines, Walking, Jogging, Travelling, Shopping, and most of all, watching and recording Korean Dramas for her friends. She loved to meet new people and made friends wherever she went. She passed quickly, without any pain or suffering and now has become our angel to watch over all of us. There will be a private service @ Green Hills Mortuary, followed by an open celebration of her life in September 2015. For more information concerning the celebration in September, please contact Kevin Kamemoto @ 310-780-0647. Please do not bring Koden or any monetary donations. If you feel the need to do so please donate to the charity of your choice, or take a loved one to lunch or dinner and let them know you care. In lieu of flowers, please plant some kind of plant in your yard or your family's yard to remind ourselves to nuture each other. I believe that is what she would have wanted.
